彌屾談
2020 Material Art Featival : Mi ShanTan
「彌」有遍佈、充滿的意思，而這次的我們想探討關於自處於山中的身份問題，因而用「屾」一字來突顯我們對大地的想像，從而對大自然進行對話。
"彌Mi" has the meaning of pervasive and full, we would like to discuss the identification of ourselves in the mountains, then, we use the word "屾Shan" to highlight our imagination of the earth and the land, therefore it creates a dialogue between us and nature.
︱藝術祭理念 Aim︱
以往材質創作與設計系的系展都設立在校外空間，而今年回到學校本身，所以我們藉這次機會，以《彌屾談》之名，反思自身與地方的關係。
In the past, the departmental exhibitions of the Department of Material Arts and Design were set up outside the school, but this year we returned to the school itself, so we took this opportunity to reflect on the relationship between ourselves and the place under the name of "Mi shen Tan".
烏山頭作為國立臺南藝術大學的依據地，對於師生們、甚至是鄰近水庫的居民都有著特別的情感，然而有著不同身份的我們會以什麼方式看待這座山？在這幽美之地，我們獲得了怎樣的能量？我們如何身處其中又能意識自我？反過來說，這座生萬物、萬物生的山，是如何觀察這些外來的客人？藉著水源、土地，藝術作為語言，讓我們再次思考雙方纏綿不清的關係。
Wu Shan Tou as the base of the National Tainan University of the Arts, it has special emotions for teachers, students, and even the residents of the adjacent reservoir. However, how do we observe, feel and see this mountain with different identities? What kind of energy do we get in this beautiful and tranquil place? How can we be aware of ourselves while we are in it? On the other hand, how does this vitality mountain where living things are born observe these foreign guests? With water, land, and art as language, let us rethink the lingering relationship between the two sides.
